Counter tops are in!
The kitchen is looking so great! We are still waiting for the range, microwave, and we also need to put the fridge back in its place. Other than that the kitchen is done and I made our first meal from it last night! It tasted so good:)
We are still using the stove in the front room so that is still coming in handy too.

Luca scooting some more
Luca is getting faster and motors around the house and yard. He had a quick break from his AFO's in the video. He can scoot with or without AFO's, and shoes.
Our Garden
John and I did some serious weeding and planting in our garden. We are hoping for a full summer of veggies. Tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, sweet peas, string beans, zucchini, squash, strawberries, lettuce, kale and herbs. We will see how they grow. We started with starters and seeds. I think it makes our yard look so cute too. Luca loved helping too, he got super muddy. We all loved it!

Luca is scooting...again
Since the last casting series started back in March Luca hasn't been able to scoot until yesterday!!! He just decided to be on the move. He can go across the whole living room, and on into his room or on the new floors. I will post a video soon. He is getting faster too! Yay, finally time to baby proof our house. I guess that means this home project better get done soon:)

Happy Mother's Day
John and Luca gave me a very special mother's day. I was surprised by flowers in the morning and two special cards. One from Luca and one from John. Luca even put his foot print on it, which meant a lot to me. After work, I went on a run, laid in the sun, and John and I went out for dinner. It was a great day!

kitchen project
We have some floors! Yay! I wanted to include some pictures so you have an idea of what the bamboo floors look like. They are solid wood, almost the same price as nice carpet, and are a renewable resource. I also think they look great! Here are a few pictures of John working on putting them in. He is amazing. The green is the back on the new kitchen walls where the cabinets are going to go in. We are thankful that Luca can sleep through the banging.
Happy Birthday to one of Luca's biggest fans
